LEAD FIREFIGHTER

Summary You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE, RESCUE & EMERGENCY SERVICES BRANCH of MARINE CORPS AIR GROUND COMBAT CTR. Responsibilities You will lead and direct the operation, efficiency of the crew in all aspects of firefighting, emergency medical, hazardous materials, urban search and rescue, fire prevention and communications. You will direct crews on daily basis in the maintenance of all firefighting, medical, hazardous materials, and communications equipment, ensuring proper condition and serviceability: initiates action to correct discrepancies. You will participate in public education activities as required, to carry out evacuation drills, resets local alarm and sprinkler systems, inspects major occupancies during peak operating hours making sure fire regulations are being adhered to.
