Lead Fire Alarms Technician

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Assists in the repair of fire alarm equipment on campus. Ensures fire alarm and fire protection systems code compliance

+ Assists in testing and service of fire protection and fire alarm systems on campus. Coordinates with building managers, third party inspectors, and relevant campus departments

+ Tests and services fire pumps on a weekly basis in accordance with relevant rules and regulations

+ Reviews new construction and renovation plans and specifications for fire alarm quality control

+ Assists Project Managers with technical support and contractors with installation and removal of fire alarm and fire protection equipment

+ Supports campus safety departments with fire alarm and fire protection systems

+ Other duties as assigned
