Lead Engineer - Exhaust

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, tolerance management and manufacturing 
processes 
• Expert knowledge of CAD tools and PLM workflows 
•Lead design and development of exhaust systems or major subsystems, including:
• Front pipe, flex pipe 
• Catalytic converter / DPF / GPF / SCR

• Underbody routing

• Mufflers and tailpipes. 
• Develop designs from:
• Concept feasibility → detailed CAD → production release. 
• Ensure compliance with:
• Packaging constraints 
• Thermal and durability requirements 
• OEM design standards and best practices 
• Correct GD&T application 
• Manufacturing-ready drawings 
• Adherence to CAD standards and naming conventions 
• BOM 
• Drive DFMEA workshops and design risk mitigation activities 
• Define DFM and DFA design guidelines for components
