Lead Engineer Equipment Design

Vuyk Engineering Rotterdam is looking for a lead engineer equipment design. In this role you’re responsible from the first engineering concepts till delivery of the engineering packages while staying point of contact during production/manufacturing.

Since all our projects are one-off, you’re already involved in the sales/estimation process to determine the client requests and translate them to proposals/estimations taking risks, planning and budgets into account. During the engineering phase you are responsible for making concepts, designs and engineering models as well as calculations (hand-, excel and FEM) for all types of heavy equipment. You will be managing other engineers and designers during the projects while being point of contact towards our clients.
