Lead DevOps Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to support a distributed, high‑volume transaction processing platform within Global Payments Technology function. This role is not traditional DevOps. The focus is on operating, scaling, and stabilizing Camunda 8-based workflow platforms used for headless, automated payment processing. The ideal candidate has strong experience with distributed systems, transaction processing environments, and Camunda 8 (Zeebe) running in production.

Key Responsibilities
- Own the DevOps and operational support of a Camunda 8–based transaction processing platform
- Deploy, operate, and scale Camunda 8 and Zeebe in Kubernetes/OpenShift environments
- Support headless, event‑driven workflows with minimal human intervention
- Ensure high availability, resiliency, and performance of distributed payment workflows
- Troubleshoot and optimize transaction throughput, latency, and failure handling
