**Job Description Summary**
The Controls Platform System Integration Engineer is the primary owner of quality, cost, and capability for the control platforms used for GE wind turbines and wind farms.
The Engineer is responsible for executing multi-disciplinary controls programs, which drive controls technology improvements that lower the cost of renewable energy.

**Essential responsibilities:**

+ Assess renewable energy industry automation needs versus current technology trends and contribute to the development of multi-generation technology and product plans
+ Collaborate with the program management and product line teams to develop high level control system requirements and communicate those requirements to the responsible controls engineers
+ Participate in a multi-disciplinary development team interfacing to incorporate system requirements in the controller design
