**Position Summary**

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Lead Compost Facility Operator to oversee daily operations at our compost facility. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate heavy equipment, manage basic administrative tasks, and effectively communicate with both team members and the public during events and outreach activities.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently (loaders, grinders, or similar equipment)
+ Lead daily compost operations including material processing, site organization, and quality control
+ Monitor and maintain equipment and report maintenance needs
