Lead CNC Operator

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Lead CNC Operator to oversee 2nd shift operations and support a team of machinists in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on CNC setup and operation with leadership responsibilities, including troubleshooting, training, and maintaining production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a small team of CNC operators during shift
• Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes using conversational programming
• Identify and resolve machining issues, including program adjustments
• Ensure part quality through first article inspections and in-process checks
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Assist with training team members and improving production processes
