**Position Purpose:**

Collaborates with the surgical team in the Lead Certified Surgical Technologist role under the direct supervision of a qualified Registered Nurse.

**What you will do:**

+ Directs and controls equipment/ materials required for patient care.
+ Under the supervision of the registered nurse, the Lead Certified Surgical Technologist assists the surgeon as a scrub technician according to department standards.
+ Demonstrates leadership accountability focusing on quality and safety
+ Interfaces with other Perioperative leadership staff to coordinate daily needs of the unit.
