The lawyer‑revisor revises the legal aspects of a range of French and English translations in various areas of the law. They serve as a dual‑qualified legal and linguistic expert, reviewing, editing, and occasionally translating specialized legal texts, such as securities, commercial contracts, and financial market documents. They ensure consistency, precision, and legal accuracy while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Revise French and English translations from a legal standpoint, providing a translation opinion when necessary, and meeting tight deadlines.
• Provide translators with feedback and discuss the same, as needed.
• Manage complex client files from intake to delivery.
• Coordinate translation mandates with translators, proofreaders, and assistants until work is delivered.
