Alberta Health Services (AHS) is looking for a dependable, highly organized individual for the position of Laundry Position. In High Prairie Reporting to the Supervisor of Linen and Environmental Services, this position performs a variety of tasks associated with the preparation, washing, and distribution of linen and garments following approved work practices. Duties include, but are not limited to, collecting, sorting, clarifying, and weighing soiled linen and apparel, loading, unloading, and operating washing equipment, folding, sorting, and stacking linen and garments, loading and operating other equipment as necessary (, irons, pressers, etc.), loading and transferring linen carts, maintaining department records as required, making recommendations on required laundry supplies, and cleaning floors, walls, and windows in the laundry area as necessary.
