Laundry Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Receive daily linen from laundry and record all linen received in the computer system.
• Issue linen to departments/wards and record daily linen out in the computer system.
• Maintain accurate linen inventory records (linen in and out).
• Coordinate with outside laundry vendors for daily Laundry collection and delivery.
• Check linen received from outside laundry vendors for quantity, quality, and cleanliness.
• Report shortages, damages, stains, or quality issues to the Linen Supervisor.
• Follow up with the laundry vendor regarding missing, damaged, or delayed linen.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of linen in the linen room.
• Assist in daily, weekly, and monthly linen stock counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the Laundry room.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and infection control standards.
