Laundry Assistant/ Accommodation Assistant/ Linen Porter

Talbot Hotel Cork are recruiting for experienced laundry attendant/ accommodation assistants/ linen porter for our busy laundry ad hotel.

Full Time position available.

Overall Job Purpose:

Responsible for the laundry room, the laundry attendant will ensure that clean linens are supplied to the entire hotel, as well as other hotels if necessary. Among the responsibilities include sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.

Perform duties of accommodation assistants in their absence and as requested by the Accommodation Manager and Assistant Accommodation Manager. Responsible for the cleaning and maintaining of guest bedrooms and public areas of the hotel to the highest standards including Bathrooms Stores and Corridors. Communicate with guests ensuring that their needs are met, and any requests are carried out.
