Laborer I

**JOB SUMMARY**

**Performs manual/physical labor while assisting trades workers on construction sites including but not limited to: preparing and cleaning job sites, loading, unloading and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools.**

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Act as journeyman tradesmen

+ Perform both heavy and general labor
+ Skilled and experiences in any or all of the following:

+ Pipe laying sewer, water and storm drain,
+ Concrete forming, hand mixing, pouring and stripping
+ Hand digging with shovels and power tools
+ Spreading, grading and compacting base rock and asphalt
+ Utilizing compaction equipment and tools
+ Demolition and minor carpentry
+ Grade checking and layout
+ Cutting, chipping, burning with torch, soldering, drilling, coring

+ Load and unload materials and supplies
+ Handle deliveries and pick-ups
+ Assist trades workers
+ Keeping jobsite and surrounding areas...
