Performs manual labor tasks as required. May include cleaning and preparing a job site, loading, and delivering materials, and using a variety of tools and machines.

Job Description

Under the supervision of a higher-level operation or maintenance employee, performs a variety of tasks in the maintenance, repair or operation of various installations and facilities. Assists welders, carpenters, painters, or other tradespeople on-site. Clean up worksites from debris and machinery. Handle and transport materials, i.e., cement. Handle power tools and materials, i.e., such as saws and drills. Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks i.e., digging, stacking goods. Put up warning signs for vehicles and passerby. Help with setting up and transferring temporary structures, i.e., scaffolding. Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions. Performs other duties as described under Helper.
