The purpose of this role is to complete to the required quality standards the analysis of cooking validation and food complaint samples using appropriate techniques.
This is a part time role working 22.5 hours per week, Friday 12:00 - 16:00, Saturday & Sunday 08:00 - 16:00, Monday 08:00 - 12:00. Training hours will be 22.5 hours a week over Monday to Friday for the first two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, extract and analyse food samples in accordance with standards of quality and the requirements of ISO17025.
- Preparation of calibration and quality standards to check method and instrument performance.
- Reporting and / or calculation of results in accordance with methods of analysis.
- Plotting and acting upon quality control data produced per batch.
- Maintain turnaround time at >99%, ensuring that daily targets are achieved.
