Laboratory Technologist

Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technologist to join a dynamic and innovative polymers company who are based in Southampton on an initial 3 month contract basis.
Location:
The role is fully based at the clients site in Southampton.
Role:
Performing a variety of polymer testing including MFI, Mechanical testing, DSC, HDT/Vicat.
Analysing and reporting data both internally and externally.
Report writing for internal and external customers.
Managing the workflow of the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
Managing quality complaint system.
Your Background:Educated to degree level or above in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
Experience in Polymer Chemistry would be beneficial.
Previous relevant experience in materials testing.
Demonstrable ability to generate data accurately and write reports.
