Laboratory Technician

We’re looking for (Civil) Laboratory Technicians to join our team in Silverdale. You’ll test the materials that keep our roads and infrastructure safe and performing well – from aggregates and asphalt to binders and road materials – helping our crews deliver Good Work across Tāmaki Makaurau.

This role splits your time between the lab and the field. Some days you’ll be out on‑site collecting samples and running field tests; other days you’ll be in the lab putting materials through their paces and making sense of the results. You’ll be part of a friendly, straight‑up team that looks after quality control testing for major construction projects. It is technical work, but you won’t be left to figure it out alone – if you bring transferable skills and the right attitude, we’ll back you with full on‑the‑job training.
