Laboratory Specimen Processor - Histology

**LabCorp is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to join our team at Ascension St. Mary's in Milwaukee, WI.**

**Work Schedule:** **2nd Shift**

**Job Responsibilities:**

+ Receiving and processing anatomic pathology specimens
+ Accessioning anatomic pathology specimens
+ Preparing and loading tissue processing runs
+ Cutting and staining frozen section tissues
+ Performing maintenance on histology instrumentation
+ Distributing pathology materials
+ Assisting on fine needle aspiration procedures
+ Other tasks including but not limited to: Filing slides and blocks, restocking laboratory supplies
+ Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas

+ Accurately identify and label specimens 

+ Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities 

+ Meet department activity and production goals
+ Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
