Job Title: Laboratory ManagerJob Description
Lead and oversee daily laboratory operations and staff. Mentor and develop team members; ensure appropriate training and performance management. Manage quality assurance, quality control, and regulatory compliance, and prepare for inspections.
Responsibilities

+ Oversee staffing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.

+ Drive process improvements, project management, and test performance review.

+ Maintain test databases and ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) reflect current practices.

+ Coordinate research and development activities and manage departmental budget and resources.

+ Ensure compliance with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety standards.

+ Maintain safe, functional laboratory facilities and equipment.

+ Interact with clients to resolve issues.

+ Perform additional duties as assigned.
