Lab Chemist

Role Purpose:

The position is to support bulk production through the effective coordination of all Laboratory operations and processes and to ensure efficient servicing of all LRM request types, ensuring high quality matches and recipes are produced and submitted within agreed service lead times and to Coats technical standards to in line with Laboratory KPIs. Ensuring smooth operation and coordination of all lab activities relating to LRM, colour matching, sample preparation and simplex operations on the shift and during shift handover. Also ensuring the optimal allocation of resources during shift. Ensuring the correct use of CFE to conduct colour measurement and pass/ fail of all laboratory batches in order to efficiently service of all LRM requests. This position is also to support its own area to be sourced by fully trained laboratory operators.
