Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Lab Associate III to join our busy clinical lab environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing and processing specimens, preparing testing equipment, and assisting with quality control procedures. This role requires a combination of technical skills and laboratory experience, ensuring the accurate handling of specimens and data.
Responsibilities

+ Organize specimens for testing, including racking, aliquoting, tube preparation, labeling, handling, processing, transport, and storage.

+ Identify specimen or sample issues and take appropriate corrective action or escalate as necessary.

+ Accession and enter specimens into the Laboratory Information System (LIS) and deliver them to the appropriate testing departments.

+ Prepare testing equipment and assist with preventive maintenance; promptly report equipment issues to technical staff.
