Lab Assistant

Our client is a market leader in their field of speciality chemicals, they are the name behind some of the UK’s and Europe’s biggest architectural, automotive and aeronautical manufacturers, providing practical, technical and environmentally minded solutions to this vital industry.

Working in Wrexham, they are looking for a Lab Assistant to join their close knit but experienced team who wants to grow on their chemistry and basic lab background.

The role holder will work alongside other scientists, their highly experienced production team and engineers. The employee will undertake several roles including laboratory, pilot plant and manufacturing scale trial work that will help to improve existing products and processes, as well as developing new processes for our customers, new and old.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Perform laboratory tests and related tasks efficiently to produce reliable good quality data on time with minimal supervision.
