**Description:**
Involved with registration, collection, processing and quality control of specimens, receives and instructs patients, processes lab orders and distributes laboratory reports.

**Shift: Day Shift, Varied Hours**

**What you will need:**

+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Phlebotomy training certification preferred.
+ Experience preferred.
+ Proficient use of computers.

**What you will do:**

+ Collect blood samples from patients.
+ Accurately identify, lab transfer and process specimens.
+ Receives and instructs patients, nurses, staff physicians, doctor’s offices regarding proper collection of specimens and laboratory reports, procedures and other lab information.
+ Receives and instructs patients, interprets physician’s orders, enters orders into lab computer system and schedules appointments.
