Description
A large global systems integrator supporting Google is hiring L1 and L2 Data Center Technicians in the greater Omaha/Council Bluffs area. These roles will support Google’s Patch Panel program, providing hands-on data center and infrastructure support.
L1 Data Center Technician
Focus: Entry-level support with hands-on hardware responsibilities.
Responsibilities:

+ Assist with moves, adds, and changes (MAC) for equipment and cabling

+ Perform basic hardware tasks such as racking and stacking servers and network equipment

+ Install copper and fiber cabling, including labeling and documenting connections

+ Monitor environmental conditions and follow operational checklists

+ Escalate issues to higher-level technicians while gaining familiarity with systems and procedures

L2 Data Center Technician
Focus: Intermediate technical support with increased independence.
