Overview

Gisborne Hospital – Part‑time (40 hours per fortnight, 0.5 FTE) Fixed Term 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide cultural advice and support to mental health & addictions services.
• Support delivery of culturally safe services for Tangata Whaiora and their whanau.
• Provide guidance in Te reo Māori, Tikanga and kawa.
• Work with clinicians, community agencies, iwi and hapu to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Ability to korero in Te Reo Māori.
• Knowledge of Tikanga and kawa Māori.
• Ability to work with Māori iwi, hapu and whanau.
• Ability to work alongside other agencies and professionals.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
