Overview

Lead API & Integration Developer with deep expertise in Kong API Gateway and hands on experience across multiple API management, integration, and microservices technologies. Experience in design, architecture, and governance of enterprise-scale API ecosystems while mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Good understanding of architecture, design, and delivery of API solutions using Kong Gateway (OSS/Enterprise).

• Define API standards, governance models, and best practices across the organization.

• Design and implement API integrations across diverse platforms: REST, GraphQL, event-driven architectures, and ESB/iPaaS tools.

• Develop and optimize custom Kong plugins using Lua or Go, improving performance, security, and observability.

• Guide the transition to microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability, reliability, and reus...
