The Elcho Group is looking for an experienced Kitchenhand to join their team in Galiwinku, NT.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in food preparation – select, wash, prep ingredients in readiness for busy service periods
- Follow kitchen directions from Cook and other kitchen staff with preparation of meals
- Unpacking and storing supplies in cold room, refrigerators and other storage areas
- Ensure stock rotation to maintain freshness and food safety.
- Safely defrost and freeze down food as per food safety guidelines
- Ensuring kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned
- Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen
