The role involves baking homemade food and cakes to a high standard, serving as front of house to visitors, ensuring a high‑quality visitor experience, and managing the team in the absence of the tearoom manager.

Responsibilities include preparing a variety of pastries and cakes, maintaining food hygiene standards, assisting with inventory, and ensuring safe food handling. The position requires 12 hours per week, including weekend work and bank holidays on a rota system, with possible additional hours depending on team needs.
