Position: Kitchen Staff (Back of House)
Location: Yayoi Japanese Teishoku Restaurant – SM Baguio
The Kitchen Staff is responsible for preparing high-quality Japanese dishes in accordance with Yayoi’s standards. The role ensures efficient kitchen operations, proper food handling, and consistent product quality for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following Yayoi’s recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation such as cutting ingredients, portioning, and plating
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times
- Maintain proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO)
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Coordinate with fellow kitchen and dining staff for smooth service flow
