Kitchen Porter | Another Place – The Machrie

Seasonal position: February to September.

In this role you will maintain kitchen cleanliness, assist with food preparation, support chefs, and help ensure a safe, organized kitchen environment. You will also handle deliveries, manage refuse, and work collaboratively with the back‑of‑house team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleaning of all kitchen equipment and working surfaces as directed by the Executive or Head Chef.
• Carry out additional duties assigned by management.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene in line with hotel and legal requirements.
• Remove and replace full refuse bags and swing bins promptly; clear spillages.
• Clean the floor area daily and as directed.
• Sweep and clean kitchen corridors and passageways.
• Wash crockery, cutlery and keep work surfaces tidy.
