Kitchen Assistant

Job Description

• Assist chefs in food preparation and cooking tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Help with inventory management and stock rotation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support the team during busy service periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned by kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required but experience as dishwasher, Prep Staff or Utility is an advantage.
• Must be familiar with basic food preparation (peeling, slicing).
• Knowledgeable in cleaning and sanitizing kitchen tools and surfaces.
• Knowledgeable in dishwashing and proper waste disposal.
• Must be familiar with stock organization and kitchen support.
• Adherent to quality control and food safety standards.
