Kitchen Assistant

We are currently looking for a talented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Llanidloes to Assist the Canteen Manager to undertake all tasks within the canteen to ensure a high-quality service to all staff across the site.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday 06:00am 14:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deputise for the Manager in their absence. Accept responsibility and be accountable for day-to-day activities.
• Ordering of stock including raising/receipting POs on SAP (covering Manager holidays/absence)
• Continuously review menus
• Preparing and cooking of food
• Assist onsite events such as summer BBQ and staff Christmas dinner
• Participate in on site engagement activities i.e. Free Breakfast Fridays / charity fundraising
• Assist stock taking and product rotation
• Serving of food and beverages
• Collect monies and operate cash till
