Responsibilities

• Assist with basic food prep, such as washing, chopping, and peeling vegetables, preparing ingredients, and assembling dishes under the direction of chefs.
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment, as well as keeping work surfaces clean and sanitized.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies and ingredients, ensuring they are properly stored and rotated.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and carry out manual tasks.
• Previous kitchen experience is often preferred but not always required.
