Responsibilities

• Creating CAD (Catia/NX) parametric math models for commodities using Knowledge Based Engineering template modeling techniques
• Dictating architecture and construction techniques
• Creating master development / packaging / requirement sections
• Defining master template modeling structures
• Training other Catia/NX engineers on modeling techniques, architecture
• Utilizing and updating parameters and standards specific to upper body shells and closures: doors, hoods, fenders, liftgates and overall upper body system
• Focusing on machine/metal design engineering and body structures
• Understanding Design to Manufacturing best practices and guidelines
• Conducting competitive benchmarking studies
• Creating and maintaining KBE design and analysis templates / requirements as standards change
• Leveraging associative parametric modeling, CAD modeling and NX design templates automation...
