Kaitiaki - Part-time

As a Kaitiaki at our St Johns village you’ll play an important role in supporting the safest, healthiest and most enjoyable lifestyle possible for our Care Centre residents. You’ll be part of a close-knit team, focused on person-centred care and enhancing the wellbeing of every resident.

This role includes a strong focus on mobility support, recreation, and mealtime care – all guided by structured morning and afternoon shift schedules.

Typical duties include:

• Supporting residents with meals and drinks, including one-on-one help where needed
• Assisting residents to follow their mobility therapy plans (e.g., walking, gentle exercise)
• Providing emotional support to residents who may feel anxious, isolated or confused
• Helping maintain a safe environment, especially for those at risk of falling
