**Position: IT SOX Analyst**
**Location:** Midtown Manhattan (Hybrid / Remote Flexibility)
**Pay Rate: $70-$80/HR W2**

**Overview**
We are seeking an experienced **IT SOX Analyst** to support a client with focused engagement testing **IT Application Controls (ITACs)** , with an emphasis on **system-generated calculation controls** . This role will play a key part in evaluating control design and execution across financial systems, as well as providing input into the overall ITAC testing strategy and risk assessment.

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Execute testing of approximately **28 IT Application Controls (ITACs)**
+ Focus on **system calculation controls** , including:
+ Amortization calculations
+ Gain/loss calculations
+ Earned interest calculations
+ Other automated/system-driven financial controls

+ Assess control **design and operating effectiveness** in accordance with SOX requirements
