Junior Survey Engineer (BE-GM-ASG-2026-119-GRAE)

As a Junior Survey Engineer you will join the Geodetic Metrology group at CERN, where you will take part in the metrology and alignment of a wide variety of components used in the particle accelerators.

You will be using state-of-the-art surveying tools and software to achieve the sub-millimetre accuracy necessary to achieve our goals. This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate on the High Intensity ECN3 (HI-ECN3) project and contribute to the efforts of the Geodetic Metrology team in the North Area.

Your responsibilities:

• Participate in the design, development and qualification of high-precision alignment system concepts, working in close collaboration with the interdisciplinary team of the HI-ECN3 project.
