Jr Land Use Planner

Compensation & Location

Salary: Up to 80/hour

Onsite: 5x a week in Peterborough

Required Skills & Experience

• Assist in reviewing and processing planning applications, including plans of subdivision, site plans, rezoning, and severances
• Support the preparation of planning reports and policy documents
• Assist with the review and interpretation of planning policy under the guidance of senior staff
• Participate in public meetings, open houses, committee meetings, and council presentations
• Collaborate closely with senior planners and the planning technician on active projects
• Contribute to both private development and municipal planning work as needed
