Junior Hydrogeologist

Job Description

Parsons is looking for a Junior Hydrogeologist to support environmental project work related to site assessment, risk assessment/management and remediation of salt, petroleum hydrocarbon, and/or fertilizer impacted sites.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting contaminated sites in Western and Northern Canada.
• Understanding Alberta regulatory frameworks; experience with other frameworks (CCME, SK, MB, BC, NWT) is an asset.
• Working with GIS and databases.
• Responsible for regulatory communication and self‑motivation with proven team‑playing ability.
• Flexibility to work between office and remote locations.

• Conceptual site model and data gap analysis.
• Risk assessment.
• Salt contamination tools.
• Tier 2 site‑specific guideline modification.
• Groundwater analytical and numerical models.
