Junior Facade Structural Engineer

JUNIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER - Engineering Department

Employment Status: Project-Based (duration is co-terminus with the project)

Official work schedule is from Monday to Friday.

REPORTS TO: Project Manager, Senior Structural Engineer

LIAISE WITH: Project Manager, Senior Structural Engineers, Façade Senior and Junior Designers, Façade Senior and Junior Fabrication Detailers, Mechanical Engineers

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Junior Structural Engineer is to manage and provide formal documentations for the structural calculations for all structural components of all the façade wall types.

To initiate decisions and corrective measures for all structural issues, where necessary, during the process of shop and fabrication drawing works. Each significant decision or corrective measure is to be properly recorded and discussed with the SCSI Façade Designers and SCSI Senior Structural Engineers.
