Junior Buyer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the procurement team in sourcing mechanical and electrical materials and services
• Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure competitive pricing
• Maintain accurate procurement records and update supplier databases
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to understand purchasing requirements
• Support the negotiation process with suppliers under supervision
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and follow up on outstanding orders

Requirements

• Some experience or interest in procurement, preferably within the mechanical and electrical (M&E) industry
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Basic knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work effectively within a team and follow instructions
