Jumbo Operator

Job Description

OceanaGold is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced, and reliable Jumbo Operator to operate and maintain jumbo drilling equipment efficiently and safely in underground mining operations at the Didipio mine.

The role will report to the mining supervisor.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Implements advanced drilling techniques and technologies to improve drilling efficiency and accuracy.
• Trains and mentors junior operators, sharing best practices and providing guidance on jumbo operation techniques.
• Skillfully and safely operate other mining underground equipment.

Qualifications

• Behaviour consistent with OceanaGold Values and the OceanaGold Way.
• Education: At least high school graduate.
• Work Experience: 5+ years experience in Jumbo Operation.
• Specialization/License: Driver’s license.
