Jr. Technologist, Lab

Application Information

You will be responsible for the day-to-day analysis of laboratory samples by wet chemistry and instrumentation methods.

This is a two-year temporary position.

In this role, you will:

• Participant in quality control activities within the lab operations and assist with corrective and preventative action planning and implementation.
• Perform maintenance of analytical equipment in the lab, mill and mine, and provide coverage to the McArthur River satellite lab as needed.

Required:

• Chemical technology diploma or bachelors degree in chemistry.
• Up to three years of relevant work experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
• Working knowledge of chemical laboratory principles and procedures.
• Effective organizational and analytical skills.
• Solid team player with a willingness to learn.
