Job Description

About the role:
The Jr. Material Planner will be part of a focused, high caliber Supply Chain Management and will have to ensure that sufficient BOM and Non BOM Auxiliary materials are always available for smooth production continuity.
What you will do:
Ensures material supply meets production requirement including safety stock target while optimizing cost.
Manage ramp-ups and slow down to ensure no supply gap or excessive inventory.
Plans, calculates raw materials requirement using S&OP and OPQR.
Monitors stocks movement to ensure FIFO is followed.
Supports cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Continuously monitor non-conforming raw materials and take action to deplete, scrap and if possible, re-use it (concession).
Manages inventory risk and ensures that contingency plans are in place.
Ensures correctness of raw material Logistic view in SAP.
