Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the Journeyman Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical infrastructure throughout the Hemlo Mine site, including both underground and surface operations. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant electrical systems supporting production and maintenance across the mill, crushing, hoisting, underground, and process areas. The incumbent will work collaboratively with multiple departments to minimize downtime, ensure reliability, and promote a strong safety culture.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, components, and infrastructure across both underground and surface operations.
Adhere to preventive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability and resource availability.
