Journeyman Electrician

Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a Journeyman Electrician to join their team. This individual will be working in transportation stations across the DMV area. Day to day responsibilities below:

Key Responsibilities
Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting
 · Test electrical systems using voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment
 · Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring, devices, and components
 · Analyze blueprints, maps, and testing results to diagnose issues
 · Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections
Transit Communications Infrastructure Support
 · Maintain and troubleshoot underground wireless communication systems, including:
   o Coaxial and fiber networks, Signal boosters, Remote power modules, Repeaters, Antennas, Combiner trays
 · Conduct hardware and software troubleshooting on communications infrastructure
