Jointing Superintendent

We are looking for a Jointers Enabling Engineer to join our team in Eastleigh. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that Prysmian’s high standards of jointing works are maintained on site through development and communications of jointing techniques. This is a great opportunity for an individual that is looking to be less ‘hands‑on’ jointing and eager to use their gained knowledge and expertise. Typical travel is a couple of days per month; weekend travel is very rare.

Responsibilities

• Attend site to oversee and ensure good, safe practice.
• Prepare and maintain ENG‑DP‑103, Jointing Section Procedures and all Jointing Instructions.
• Develop new jointing techniques with personnel from the High Voltage Laboratory and assist the Cable Accessories department with accessory drawings.
• Prepare tooling lists for each project in collaboration with the Sales Office and Cable Accessories.
