Joinery CAD Draughtsman in Birmingham

Working within a small team of both internal and external draughtspersons/setter‑outs, the appropriate candidate will work closely with the Assistant Works Manager to interpret technical drawings and then produce technical 2D/3D drawings through AutoCAD for customer approval. Once approved, all information is booked out onto the shop floor to prepare for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience designing to manufacture.
• Experience with joinery and/or metalwork.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and convert them to a working document.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
