Pursue a rewarding part-time role as a Speech Language Pathologist at Bruyère Health, where you will focus on rehabilitating communication and swallowing disorders.
Working within the Rehabilitation program, you will report to the Clinical Manager and be responsible for both assessments and treatment for patients with various communication disorders. Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be registered with Ontario's College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists. Knowledge of dysphagia treatment and Augmentative/Alternative Communication is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess patients for communication and swallowing issues
• Design tailored intervention strategies and treatment plans
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team
• Fulfill the FIM certification requirement timely
• Communicate treatment progress with families and colleagues
